Without warning the narrow passageway opens up to a grand and magestic room. You pause just before the threshold. No harm in being caucious.
Squinting a little in the low light, you see high arching pillars ahead of you, bathed in cool blue light too filtered and dim to be the moon. To think of it, you have not seen a single window or external door since you arrived. Dread sits in your stomach, but lessens a little when you step out of the stone passage into the wider hall and realize that this is a massive library.

A feeling of quiet calmness sits in this place like a mist. Rows of heavy leather books and aged paper scrolls pass by ad infintum as you slowly walk through them. When you look down an isle, it seems to go on forever into an deep darkness.
